Dave's clients represent various industries and individuals. Dave leads the Bergan Paulsen team and clients to maximize their strengths and abilities. He is a Strength Coach certified by the Gallup Organization. Networking Solutions, an affiliate of Bergan Paulsen, is also managed by Dave.

Dave is a native of Denver, Iowa. He received his B.A. in accounting from Truman State University in 1974. He began his career in public accounting at Bergan Paulsen in 1974 and became a principal in 1978.

He has served on several civic boards and committees, including Allen Hospital, Sunnyside Country Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, West High Athletic Booster Club, the UNI Accounting Advisory Council and his church. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Iowa Society of CPAs and Rotary.
