Heather specializes in estate planning and succession strategies for our clients. Her practice focuses on estate, fiduciary and gift taxation, as well as tax planning and preparation for both individuals and business owners.

Heather is a native of New Hampton, Iowa. She received her B.A. in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa. She joined the firm in 1995 and became a principal in 2008. She currently serves on the Professional Advisory Committee for the Community Foundation of Waterloo/Cedar Falls and Northeast Iowa and is a member of the Black Hawk County Estate Planning Council. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of CPAs.
